Confused about documents you send to NVC

Hi, my wife and I are somewhat confused about the orginal documents she sends to the NVC. Does the NVC send those documents back to her or the embassy? If you read questions from embassy interviewer they ask her for those same original documents. So will she get back those orginal documents in the interview packet or at the embassy? Her interview will be in Manila. Some documents such as her NBI police certificate took 3 weeks to get and if she needs another one becuse the NVC does not forward the orginals then it will take her 3 weeks again.

If You forwarded the Original Documents to NVC they wont ask you at the time of the interview (as for my experience). But at least do your best to get another copy if you still have time.

Thanks for the info:-) Had another question, she has her passport but it still has her single name on it can she still use that name on passport to go to USA or does she have to get new name passport and go to the seminar? It takes I think 3 weeks to get after the seminar, and so it will take 3 weeks longer at NVC to recieve, becuse right now she has all her documents ready for NVC unless she needs to change her single name on passpor to married name.

If you forwarded the Original Documents to NVC they send it to the embassy. At the day of the interview they give it back to your spouse! But I agree with the last comment you should make a copy of everything!
