There has been much debate and speculation about whether or not an interview is now required. Example if you dodge the bullet the first round, when you go to remove your conditions you get pegged for an interview. OR if you did not get so lucky the first time around and had an interview you might/ might not have one when you remove conditions.

Well, I we dodged the bullet the first time around (no interview on Change of Status) when they found out she was pregnant the interview was canceled. Long story on that one. Now I just got an e-mail stating that a card was ordered on April 4th and to allow 30 days for it to arrive (I figure I should realistically get it this week) So this time no interview, no interview invite and we DID file after the magic July whatever it was date (filed Dec 12) And we are about 3 months ahead of what the California Service Center says processing times are for that one (the web site last said they were processing Sept 17)
