Loved his movies especially Ben Hur and Planet of the Apes. I will miss him. RIP Mr. Heston.

I loved that part in the remake of the Planet of the Apes when he was the old chimp saying "damn them all to hell" again. Classic.

The Ten Commandments is one of my all time favorites.

Most of the lead actors have passed now.

As far as politics go, Heston merely used his fame to work for a cause he believed in. Personally, I don't think we should give a whole lot of credence to any actor/actress when it comes to politics, unless they've stated intentions to seek political office.
