I'm holding off on celebrating just yet. I kind a sneaking suspicion that this might be a mistake on the May 6th because it falls on a saturday. I think we need to wait until he gets his official letter. We will also be filing the I-601 waiver so we have many more months to wait after then interview. We are thinking we should hear something about August/September (fingers crossed) and then he will take a month or so to sell his car and get things situated before he moves over. At least we are making progress.... :dance:

Oh and thanks for adding us to the timeline. We filed for a K-1 visa.

Sanc was approved, i dont think he comes to VJ any more, but i do know he was approved and he did a realy great write up about his interview on dive into america!!..he is such a clever boy :P

We did both K3 & CR1 visa's, got both!!- I returned to England for my CR1 interview after first arriving on a K3 visa!!

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

Ok, I know I'm being silly, but... how long does it usually take for the courier service to send the passport/visa? The interview was Monday, and we're sitting and pacing and fretting about why it isn't here yet. Another day, maybe? Longer?

Beaner, I got my interview date 2 1/2 weeks after I sent my Packet 3 in. Once you have the medical, you should start emailing the embassy and should get a date quickly after that. Good luck!

Ok I'm gonna try my best to update this and add in that James got his Packet 4 today (yaay it's official!). I still think it's so weird that I never heard from London in all of my emails (I only sent 3) and James emailed them many more times than I did, and always got responses, and it was me they emailed his interview date to! They never emailed him about it!

Congrats Cheeky! Nigel and I are just a few days behind you in our timeline so I wonder if he'll be getting any mail soon! He actually doesn't have his police report back yet so we're happy for an interview sometime next month. Love the second quote on your signature by the way :)

Speaking of which, how long did it take most of you to get your UK police report? Did it take the 40 days they say it will?

October 2004 - First trip to England to see Nigel

November 24, 2005 - Engaged!

December 13, 2005 - Sent I-129

December 16, 2005 - I-129 received in Vermont

December 19, 2005 - NOA1

January 3, 2005 - NOA2

January 27, 2006 - Packet 3 received

February 9, 2006 - Packet 3 sent back

March 13, 2006 - Medical appointment

March 23, 2006 - Packet 4 received

April 18, 2006 - Interview - VISA APPROVED!!!

June 21, 2006 - Nigel arrives!

July 12, 2006 - Applied for SSN

July 14, 2006 - Married at courthouse

July 19, 2006 - Received SSN

August 8, 2006 - Filed for AOS and EAD

August 17, 2006 - Received NOA

September 2, 2006 - Received notice that case was transferred to CSC

September 5, 2006 - Biometrics appt

September 30, 2006 - Official wedding with friends and family - woohoo!

October 12, 2006 - Received email that case was approved

October 16, 2006 - GC arrived!
