Here is the outcome, USCIS told us that our I-130 will proceed and reach the NVC. They suggested if we get our I-129F approved anytime later, that we write a letter to USCIS saying that we would like to go ahead with I-130 and would like to drop K3(I129F). (According to me it is very unlikely they would approve I-129F for us to choose, as they have touched twice and it still says pending).

Secondly, we called NVC last friday and they said, they have received the case and would assign a case number that day or the next day. So I am hoping we have a case number by now.
