K-1 interview Reschedule

Would like to know if it takes a longer period to have K-1 interview date rescheduled. called the US london embassy and was informed that i missed my interview date as i did not receive the prior notice of the interview in the mail and i have been waiting for it since february. the missed date was march the 10th, i was told to email the embassy which i have done already and received the acknowledgment of receipt of the mail. I have not being feeling alright since i i learnt of the missed date. can this affect my visa? i need someone to please shed more light on this type of situation, am really mad at the so-called royalmail now cuz i figured out they were on strike around that time.

I had to have my k-3 rescheduled b/c I did'nt have all my forms. It took us 6 weeks to get another interview.

I got our K1 visa date rescheduled in Lima by calling the embassy and requesting a reschedule. They made the change a week later
