question on how to correct an error on G-325A

I just found out an error on the form G-325A of my own, on the Citizenship/Nationality field instead of typing American, i mistaken filled in other nationality. I already sent the I-129F backage in April and received the I-797C from USCIS. Now what can i do to correct this mistake? in the package i have copy of my US-passport to prove that i am american. Please give me some advices. I dont want my case to delay because of this stupid error. I tried to call 800-375-5283 but can not reach anyone....

You wrote something else? You´ll prolly have your case sent back with an RFE to fix it, if they see your passport proving you´re american, and your birth certificate.

Im with L&L on this one, you'll probably get an RFE for it. But I wouldnt worry too much, its a simple mistake. Ahmed and I made a similar one, his address on the G325A is incomplete so we are preparing a corrected form to send in if/when we get an RFE. Even though we went over the petition packet a dozen times, we still didnt catch this iddy-biddy thing until it was already mailed out. Don't fret, you'll be okay And congratulations on getting the NOA1!

OOps you might get an RFE but if you sent your passport and birthcertificate they may let it through.

Maybe an RFE - maybe not.

Sometimes little glitches seem to go unnoticed. When we filed our AOS, we used the G-325A fillable form straight from USCIS. The form itself was actually making an error - i checked a little box in the lower right hand corner with the correct response, but the form was checking a different response on the 3 underlying pages. I never caught it until after I sent the package. It was never an issue.

i dont think it's a big problem , maybe they wont care especially as u said there r things that show u r an american (copy of pass and so on),u didnt say in ur question if u wrote the wrong nationality in all the four G-325A papers or just one of them ,
