hello, I just have a question, If someone know if uscis is checking background us citizenship (my friend husband have a warrnts on his account, and he is affriad to go on the interview...( warrant , because he did not pay child support for year), so if they do check that?? thanks everybody.

Assuming you are speaking about the applicant. Yes, they check on everything, even his underwear size! J/k :P

Just be honest with them, it looks realy bad when they catch you lying, get him to start making payments to at least show that he is trying to make right! Child support is a pretty big deal, he can be arrested for that.

I know a little bit about how child support/arrears works, so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

05/09/2008 Received EAD Approval Notice from CRIS "Card production odered"

05/14/2008 EAD card production ordered, 2nd notice

05/16/2008 EAD Approved & Sent!! (61 days)

05/19/2008 EAD in hand!!!!!

yeaah, I know tah he can be arrested for that.. but if they check us citzneship.. to teh interview is 4 moths.. and he started paying off.. but the warants are still there..thanks alot for anserw

I m speaking about US citzneship who files AOS for immigrant wife

From what I've read they do not do any kind of background check on the US citizen spouse.
