Does anyone have hotel recommendations near the embassy in Lima, Peru?

If you know the approximate hotel rates or website that would also be nice to know.

Does anyone think it is a better idea to stay at a hotel in Miraflores since it appears to be closer to the medical exam locations?

I would recommend staying at the hotel right across the street from the Embassy, it is called the "El Polo Hotel" and it worked great for us because we forgot a form during our interview and they allowed us to run across the street and print what we needed off of the hotel computer. It is also right next to a shopping mall and near some good restaurants. Miraflores is about 20 minutes by taxi from the Embassy which may be a little far although, it is a nicer area I would still suggest staying close to the Embassy. A suite at the hotel costs bout $129.00 US per night and that included a great breakfast buffet. Good luck with everything.
