getting belgian police clearance

Please, :help: does anyone know how to obtain belgian police clearance, when I´m back here in Philippines right now? Well , do I need it anyway? I was living there for less than a year (8 months to be exact).

Am really hoping for any hints/infos, they are surely be always a great help for me...

Manila has this:

OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERTIFICATES. Applicants aged 16 years and older must also present police certificates from other countries where they have lived for six (6) months or more after reaching the age of 16. As with NBI clearances, foreign police certificates should be obtained

in any maiden names, aliases or nicknames ever used while in the country in question, including different spellings you have used of those names.

Police and Prison Record

Available. Persons16 years of age and older should request a police certificate (French, Dutch) from the Ministry of Justice, Avenue Porte De Hal 5-8, 1060 Brussels. Application may be made in person or by mail. A written request, indicating the reason for the request, should contain the following:

  • Full name (including middle and maiden names)

  • Current address

  • Date and place of birth

  • Dates of residence in Belgium

  • The number and place of issuance (if known) of the Belgian Identity Card used while the person resided in Belgium and/or the number and nationality of the passport used while living in Belgium

  • Reason why the police certificate is needed
