Im getting ready to complete the G-325A for my fiance. They are requesting the previous 5 years address and employment. She is currently residing in Chandigarh, India where she is studying , which is her current address and previous to this she went to school in a different city. On our I-129F i used her village address, which is the one she wanted listed becasue that is where her family resides and it is her permanent address. Should i just fill out her current address, wehre she is going to school or should i just notate her village address as her only address for the previous 5 years on the G-325A. I just want to make it easy as possible on her, rather than giving her a big run around back home trying to get police reports from all different cities and such. please help. Thanks much

well you will want to give the address where she would have a police record for which is required for her interview later on. So, her permanent address would be fine, but I would put the address where her school is located if you are going to state that she has been a student in another city.

so, if i do not want to state her school address, i do not have to ...is that correct?.. this wont come back and haunt me later during her interview or anything will it? or they do not ask about her schooling and work history?

I lived in Hungary prior to being in the states and listed each area I lived in. Hopefully that does not give me headaches.

I don't believe it will so long as her permanent residence is the address you listed for all 5 years. If you list other addresses then you might be required to get police certificates from those locations for the itnerview. And, if she has only rented an aprtment and not registered with the city, then it is unlikely there would even be a police report to get.

Just be sure that her permanent residence is at the address specified and that there would not be any reason to have her address listed elsewhere (i.e. on record with police at her school's city).

My hubby used his village address on the I-129F too, for the same reasons. However on the G-325A we were honest and listed the addresses he was at for the last 5 years, which included Hyderabad where he resided for 2 years before coming here to USA. He tried but could not get a police certificate from Hyderabad because he had no proof of residence (bank account was in a town near his village, he had no lease agreement, voting card, ration card etc., all registered in the village). He just got the village Police certificate and the passport office one from Visakhapatnam. No one ever asked for the Hyderabad PCC, there wasn't a mention of it at all.

So even if you include her schooling address, I would not worry about it.
