We spoke to an operator this week and she said the cut off of interview schedule for next month is the 2nd Tuesday of the present month. I'm not sure if they base it depending on the embassy or US consulate of the beneficiary. Anyone who has more understanding may elaborate on this.

jimandjosil,

Read my post at: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=1619777, and continue onto second page. You will see discussion on my experience of vagueness in the interview date assignment process. They say it's done by second week of each month for following month. But, in my case, it was completed in 3rd week for interview 2 months down the road. Of course, it depends on consulate / embassy, if they already have a heavy backlog.

Regards,

Sanjiv

I guess what they meant by....the cut off is the 2nd Tuesday of the month for next month. Meaning....like for March, cut off would be March 10...if case is completed before March 10 then the likelihood of interview is feasible in April. But if the case gets completed after March 10 then interview will fall in May.. And so on and so forth.
