Hi,

I have 2 year green card and i will be applying for 10 year GC this June. I am planning to go travel outside USA for a month or so. This will be first time for em to travel outside USA after i came here on k3 visa. When i got my 2 year GC the lady also stamped my passport and that stamp was valid only for a year. so obviously its expired now. Do i need any kinda stamp if i want to travel abroad? or Green Card would be enough to exit and enter USA.

Thank you

They give you the 1 year stamp so that you can travel while you are waiting for your green card in the mail. Since your card is not expired, that's all you need. No additionnal stamp required. Have a nice trip!

Green card along with your passport should be enough for you to travel abroad.
