Waiting for Notice from NVC

Hi,

It will be one month on March 11 since the NVC received our case but we haven't received any Notice from them yet :(

My fiance is working out of town for two weeks and he won't be able to check his mail box everyday. I'm wondering if what's the content of that Notice from NVC and if they will ask something to my fiance.

Can anyone share me what the NVC's Notice all about? Do they just inform the petitioner that they already forwarded the case to the USEM? Or if they ask something in the Notice, what's that particular requirement? I wanted to know earlier so we could prepare.

NVC shouldnt ask for anything. You shouldnt have to worry about anything else until your interview packet. It will take a few weeks for the embassy in Manila to get everything from the NVC.

Theres nothing to worry. Basically, they will just inform you that they have created a case record with your petition information and that they will send the petition to the US Embassy in Manila, Philippines within a week and they provide your case number that begins with MNL2008XXXXXX.

Thanks! It's nice that they told you they already forwarded your case at the USEM even though you did't get any Notice from them yet.

I called them but they said our papers is still at the Administrative Office. Geez.. :(
