Hi,

I'm just wondering if there's anyone that could give me some more insightful infos on living in Guangzhou, China since chances are my family & I will be moving there and I've googled Guangzhou but haven't found a really helpful site at all. If you don't mind you could just PM me and we could talk through email or chat.

Boy, I didn't even know how to check the name history thing here Charles LOL but it's good that there's someone here still remembers me.

I'm sorry you & Nessa had to waited so long! I can totaly relate to that. Ugh! I hope she can relax and enjoying her new life here.

He got an offer yeah and it seems pretty good one thing that I"m kinda worried about is although I'm asian, I don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese (they mostly use Cantonese) so it's gonna be quite an adventure LOL.

Take care Charles!

Can't offer any websites or insight other than the following anecdotal info.

If the money is there, you will do just fine in China. As in Indonesia, you can have the luxury of housekeepers, drivers and so forth. Not to mention the easy access to key Asian cooking ingredients.....

From our perspective, we would only ask when the moving truck arrives!!

All the best to you.

LOL yeah that's some of the things my Indo friends (who used to live in China before) told me, they even said if I'm too tired to cook, just go out & eat coz they're cheap (plus delicious!) like in Indo. As far as asian cooking ingredients I think I'll be in heaven since where we are living now, there's only one asian (read: Korean) market nearby & they hardly have anything for my Indo cooking LOL. Oh and not to mention that going home to Indo is only a few hours flight away (& not that expensive too!).

Thanks William.
