Hello our vj family! this is my first post here at the AOS section.

well, i just need to do some clarifications regarding co-sponsorship. my baby carl has a low income last year that does not meet the 125% poverty level requirement so we'll be getting a co-sponsor definitely. my quesions are:

1. can his cousin who lives in a different address can be our co-sponsor? or

2. can we have his aunt as a co-sponsor who is already a senior citizen and lives with us with enough income?

thank you very much. i will appreciate all your replies soon.

I think that any choice will be Ok. But the first one looks better because the second one aside of she had enough income it looks like she could stop to work soon (How old is she?) I think that imigration will consider that the co-sponsor will continue working enough time for guarante to USCIS that she will sponsor the imigrant until he/she becomes citizen/40 points...

The answer to both questions is "yes". Just be sure to count household size correctly when calculating eligibility.

Side note... Marriage on Thursday!! Congrats in advance!
