Hello and Good Day Again to All!

My Filipina fiance had a history of applying 3 times for Tourist Visa (tourist purposes) and the last one was last year March 2007. Unfortunately, she was given denied entry for all these 3 attempts. My love and I met online around November 2006 and during her 3rd attempt for tourist visa, I supported (encouraged) her to try it and secure interview at Manila Embassy. The very first time I met her is when I went to the Philippines last August 2007 and this is because I want to meet her face to face and spend time together. My questions are the following:

1) Will these 3 denials affect our status for getting k1 approval? Will it be considered by US consulates during the interview? My fiance is worrying that she will be denied again this time around in our k1 petition.

2) In case, this background is brought up by interviewers, how should we deal with it. I meant, do we need to tell all the details why my fiance had history of securing entry in USA territory as a tourist before? We are worried that it may sound like my fiance is desperate to go to USA, which is not the case, because what her and I have is such a wonderful relationship and we are planning to get married 2 weeks upon her arrival here in the USA sometime soon. Hopefully.

We need your continued advise. Please help :help:

"Distance makes the heart grow fonder." Well, our heart have always and will continue to be quite fond of. Distance doesn't matter if you really love the person, what matters most is your honesty and trust for that relationship to work out. We may not get to see as often as we like, we may not get to hold each other in arms all through the night. But deep in our heart we truly know, we are meant for each other, the one to spend our life with forever!

Ryan and Dianne for keeps!

The tourist visa denials wont affect the K-1 process. However, when your fiance completes the form DS-156 she'll have to fill in the info. about prior visa denials and she will have to list these denials. Just be honest about it you should be ok, if you meet all the K-1 requirements and are able to prove that you have a real relationship going on with the rest of the supporting evidence of your engagement and intention to get married, there should be no reason for a denial.

Good luck!

I just want to share that during my interview day I met a lady in her late 30's. We had a conversation while waiting for our interview and she was so nervous because she was applying for a tourist visa more than 3 times and all those was denied and she is worry if it would be ground to her denial for a k1 visa. She was interviewed before me and when she went out to consul room she was smiling and was approved....She said she was being asked about her tourist visa and she answered it straight and honest..
