BIOMETRICS IN NORTH CAROLINA

so im in a bit of a panic my husband would be deploying in iraq next month (this march) i am living right now in jacksonville NC i would be sending my AOS application next week,my question is since i am in jacksonville where do you think i would be doing my biometrics appointment,im thinking ill be doing it in Charlotte NC which freaks me out coz its 6 hours drive from here i cant drive since no SSN no drivers license, how am i even supposed to get there =) anyway it will be fine so i just want to know first things first,,where do u think ill be having my biometrics appointment--ill figure out from there =) thanks ;p

Hi Shann,

Your biometrics will be at the ASC in Charlotte, NC.

08/17/08: Mailed N400 to TSC

08/19/08: USPS attempted delivery

08/20/08: TSC received N400

08/21/08: TSC cashed check

09/02/08: Received NOA...........Priority date: 08/20/08

..............................................Notice date : 08/22/08

09/02/08: Received Biometrics Notification

09/18/08: Biometrics completed - Charlotte DO

10/24/08: Received Interview Letter

12/08/08: Interview @ 1:00pm. APPROVED!

01/05/09: Oath Ceremony 10:00AM. Now officially a USC!!!

01/17/09: Applied for US Passport and passport card

01/28/09: Received US Passport

01/29/09: Received US passport card

You can always take a train or Greyhound bus to Charlotte, but either way will be a long time to get there. That is the only solution unless you know of someone who could take you.

I checked Greyhound and it is 7-9 hours trip, one arriving late at night and the other very early in the morning :(

No, Shian doesn't have her appointment yet. She's still getting ready to send her AOS packet out next week. She's just looking ahead because of her husband's deployment.
