My friend is engaged to a friend of my wife, and she went through medical the other day.

Some how, she ended up not getting a vaccine- I don't think they required it for some reason, at least at this point.

Everyone is concerned.

She is not pregnant.

Does anyone know why they would not have required her to get a vaccine at ST Lukes? I thought it was SOP.

Hi just want to share you my story about that vaccinations....when i had my medical at st. lukes the doctor asked me where i want to get my vaccines and then i said here at the US (im such a chicken :lol: )...so they didnt give me a shots...when i arrived here at the US last may i got pregnant so i got a waiver...the doctor put a note that i will get my shots after i give birth.I had my aos interview last november and got my green card same month...i just give birth last january so since i already have my greencard,,,there'll be no need to have a shots :whistle:

Normally the TD vaccine is not available in the Philippines and must been obtained when in the US.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Vaccinations for K-1/K-2 not required in Philippines. My wife was asked if she wanted to do them there or told she could get them in the USA. She got hers there, but my daughter, who is at St. Luke's today declined the vaccinations from St. Luke's due to time limitations. She just has to get them and show proof before she will AOS.

10/20/09 - Mir Passes ROC Interview

10/23/09 - Email received-Card Production Ordered!Woohooo!!!

does she have all the required vaccines already ??? could be one reason for it or someone messed up

vaccines are required for all visa classes

All immigrant visa classes... non-immigrant visas the vaccinations are optional.

YMMV
