Hey,

I just wanted to give you my updates regarding I- 751 (received by USCIS on Jan.31, 2007).

On January 28, 2008 I have requested USCIS to have my application reviewed because it was out of processing time.

Today USCIS Customer Service lady told me, that my I-751 petition has been changed to CR-189 since they recommended my I-751 to be approved and I should be getting my GC within 45 days.

Is anyone in the same situation? What does CR-189 exactly mean?

Thank for your help.

CR=Conditional Resident

If you look at your NOA closely it will tell you that when you track your case status on USCIS website, it will show up as CR189. So, the update provided by the USCIS customer service is actually a routine response. I don't know about the part about recommending it for approval though as only the adjudicating officer can decide that.

CR-189 is the same thing as I-751

I'm wondering if something happened inside USCIS ....that's something unusual (From USCIS) to hear that you are "out of processing time "

Did you look on their website ? The processing date for I-751 is now June 5,2006

I don't understand anymore what they do there ....these retards are palying a dirty game with us

Thanks for all the responses.

I know that the CR-189 has been listed on the website all the time, but still I had a hope that they are actually doing something about my case...

It is unbelievable how many different stories I have heared from USCIS so far....I will keep calling there every week and wait, wait and wait.

Thanks again.
