Hello everyone - Especially January Filers....

I have been reading a lot of your timelines and the 'touch' updates. Do you really look at the status online everyday or you receive email notification that case/cases were touched on that particular date? As of today, my EAD/AOS were last touched on 2/04/07, which was just after my Biometrics appointment. Am kind of jealous that a lot of you have some 'touch' updates and I don't have :innocent: Anyway - my other question is ---- has anyone been following up their 'touch status online' and no progress then just suddenly receive some updates in the mail (snail mail)?

Am just raring to go back to work now... It's my first time to be jobless :( Thanks! Thanks! Have a great rest of week to you all!

You don't get email (or snail-mail) for 'touches' - they don't mean anything (really) anyway. We (like many) checked regularly (maybe not every day) just to see - got touched just after biometrics and then nothing until the EAD was approved (which was a short time later). It's nerve wracking, but just keep busy doing other things in the mean time. :thumbs:

Agreed with Karin und Otto. We also got a touch after biometrics then nothing till the email that EAD was approved.

Some people's cases are not updated or touched online, but they suddenly get an approval notice/green card/EAD in the mail!
