I'm watching the scott tournment right now. I'm not sure if we'll be able to stream tsn from here on or if this is something special because of the really low interest in women's curling. Either way-I'm loving the SK/NL game that's going right now. NL is up 3 to 2

summer fling failed to fizzle, married 2003

I-130 mailed 12/15/03

4/1/04 no word from NE contacted senators office, app found

NOA1 4/13/04

Gave up on ridiculously long US process-started Canadian

12/4/04 submitted app

LSS app returned because of missed signatures, lost in transit, resubmitted in June

9/28/05 landed, yippie

10/4/05 fly back to US to "finish up Master's" lose mind and switch to PhD

Damn it back to the US process

3/something/2005 finally get NOA2, no idea why it took so long

4/15/07 get case approval from NVC

8/9/07 Montreal here we come

10/14/07 hubby activated his visa

That's cool. I'm a big curler and fan. I haven't brought down my Bell receiver this year yet to catch all the curling on the TV. Maybe I'll pick it up on my next trip to the house in Canada. They are hosting the Men's World's in Grand Forks, ND this year and just bought our tickets yesterday.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT!! just home from the hospital and wiped!! Whewww And what better to come home to --then Curling!! Ya baby, even if its the homemakers playing, i wil take it,lol I was going to try clicking ont he link earlier, but thought it would be blacked out like the hockey was!! Sweet

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

And it has come to an end!! Watched 2 games yesterday, and was rdy to watch the 2000 draw--Ont vs Alberta, but it wasn't shown online!! And I believe the coverage has switched over to CBC, meaning no more online at TSN!! Oh well!! Hopefully they will show the mens on TSN!!

I caught part of the Alberta/Ontario game last night at work. Of course I am cheering for Manitoba's Jones today and hopefully I can catch some of the game when I go into work again.

But also did anyone know that the US is having their National playoff today too? I'm more excited about that as our local guys are in the finals today. http://www.usacurl.org/curlingrocks//index...8&Itemid=79 I will be so pumped if they win and get to play in the Worlds coming up in April in Grand Forks. Crappy thing is that there is absolutely No tv coverage of these games. It saddens me how curling, even at the national level has no local tv broadcast down here (even when the local team is in the finals) but yet they broadcast highschool volleyball and basketball.

Curling is low in the USA, YET, last yr, one week (in USA), Womens curling had a better TV rating than NHL hockey! lol

Yep, the game will be on CBC.ca online, only questions now, are it free and available in the USA. One can go back and see highlites of previous games on CBC
