I'm going thru Casa, but at the NVC, they require a certified translation from someone authorized to do Arabic to English translations. What we did was seek out translators that are used by the court system; they are licensed as credible translators by the state, and their translations bear that accreditation, so that killed two birds with one stone, so to speak. The courts there should be able to give you information about where to find them.

PS: Always get multiple certified copies. I've been thru about 4-5, so far. Besides the visa stuff. if you change your name, you need them for everything.

We used the Sukaina Immigration Office in Amman, they also translate all the documents you will need for the immigration process. They also handled our case, but not very well. LOL Save yourself some time and money and do the filing yourself if you don't think it's to complicated. Plus, you'll be the first to know what is going on with your case instead of being in limbo all of the time.

My life has been blessed with the love of 4 of the sweetest men in the world. James, Jonathan, Nicolas, and Islam, my sons and my S/O.

OPSSSSSSS I DID IT AGAIN!

looks like you don't have to translate any certificates because you can issue a certificate in english from the ministry of interior / department of civil affairs ( el27wal elmadaniah )
