Work sponser

Can a job sponser you if you are in the middle of your aos? My friend has a biometrics appointment on monday the average time until approvel is 133 days. He has a masters from an american university and was offefered a teaching position and was wondering if he could get sponsered from the school, and what it would take if I wanted to do this?

I really don't understand your question, your friend is already in the process to adjust status, they already submitted all the forms, sponsors, evidence and they are even scheduled to a biometrics, why do they need a sponsor? you want to know if he can start working for the university? if that is the question I guess he has to wait for his EAD to start working

He has a private high school who wants him to start work ASAP. this school has never sponsered someone to work for them, but would be willing to do so. He does not have permission to work in the U.S. until his I 485 process is finished in about(143 days). Is there anyway he can work for the school? They would be willing to sponser him if that would help! Does this make more sense?

one question, he is being sponsored by a spouse right?? if that is the case, he has to wait for his Employment authorization card, in case he filed for it, in case he didn't well he is going to have to wait until he receives his greencard. He cannot start a second work permit application process while another is already in the process of completion
