Sent Package off

Hi all,

I sent our I-751 package off on 02/07/08 by USPS Express Mail where TSC is supposed to sign for it. So I was tracking it on the USPS site & I got this message:

We attempted to deliver your item at 11:36 AM on February 8, 2008 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Was I not supposed to have it where someone has sign for it?

I know I sent the K-1 package the same way & someone did sign for it.

Has anyone else had this to happen to them?

If so, what happened?

Don't worry. We got the same message on the USPS tracking number request.

The thing is that USCIS picks the packages up at the Mesquite, TX post office every day around 6am. If your package arrived later than that, it'll be picked up the following business day at 6am or so.

The service center picks up its mail on a schedule so if they weren't avaible to receive that packet the USPS tracking systems posts that message. Not sure about the signing issue, they may sign for all packages.
