Is anybody here who recently(past 6 months) filed for

"Greencard error" and recieved his/her GC?please help :help:

I filed yesterday for my wife, so obviously don't have the new card yet. This email I got from the local office may be helpful information, should there be a need for travel.

She will need to bring proof of the I-90 filing, a copy of the incorrect card and proof of an emergent need. The stamp is not provided automatically when the I-90 is filed and is given only a short validity time. This is to allow for the new card to be processed and sent to the applicant. If the service finds that they have made an error then the card should be remade within 5 to 6 months of filing form I-90.

Only the person who owns the passport and is requiring a stamp may receive such a stamp in their passport.
