Hello,

I'm just new here but we had started our K1 process.

We submitted this January 22, 2008 and received NOA1 last January 25, 2008.

My situation is that, I'm now 5 months pregnant...

My due date will be on June 22, 2008.

We haven't added the baby to I-129F Petition as he/she is not yet born.

Will it affect our process?

If the whole K1 will take 6 months I'll probably be giving birth before my interview.

I want to know if the baby can go with me to the US eventhough he/she is not included in the petition, although we have stated in our I-129F evidence that I'm currently pregnant with my fiance.

Want to know more about our case.

Thank you so much!

If your baby is born in the Philippines, the baby will still be a US citizen but your fiance will need to register the child with the US consulate, as a "birth abroad", then get a US passport for the baby.

Thank you guys!

I just had my ultrasound.. it's a Boy!

Congratulations!!!

We had twins recently, but things were simpler from the visa point of view as it was the petitioner that was pregnant during the K1 process. I hope your family is together long before the birth as it broke my heart having to leave my twins and fiance and have to return to the UK. I'm had my medical now and am just awaiting the Embassy to contact me with an interview date. I don't think I haven't watched the postman with anticipation a single morning since I returned my Packet 3! Hopefully I'll be home soon.

Thankfully, my partners mother has flown up from Arizona to assist Laura during my absence. I just hope I'm not gone long.

Darren.

 right!

Well we're doing ok right now, constantly communicating and talking about on what we will have to do when the times come.

Prolly, I will have to give birth by june just before my interview, then get the requirements for baby's CRBA that will take 1 month.

Then, by July (if God's willing) I'll be having my interview for K1.

My honey Frank will be here in June to be with me and baby but he will have to go back after a month.

So I might be the only one to present baby at the USE for interview for his CRBA.

I really hope birth certificate from NSO won't take long.

Thank you guys!

Hi i'm in a similar situation. My fiancee and I met in the Philippines but she works overseas in Saudi. She is pregnant now and from a statistic page on this site. The average wait is 233 days now. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/stats.php?history=90

which is maybe closer to 7 or 8 months now. My baby is due in August and i have received my 1st NOA in the beginning of January. I just hope and pray everything works out and my fiancee is here in the US before the baby is born.

Hey Francis myself and my wife were in a somewhat similar situation last year, I dont want to bore you with the details but the thing i wanted to point out is regarding the CRBA and the birth certificate. My wife gave birth on January 15 and the NSO just finished processing and we got the certified birth certificate from them. It takes 40 working days before you are able to get that, you'll have a draft copy of course but it isnt acceptable as far as the US Embassy is concerned. The hospital will probably inform you of that 40 day timeframe when you are doing the paperwork for his birth certificate, but i just wanted to let you know so that you can figure that into the time ouf your K-1 process. If you have any questions regarding the CRBA process and interview we will be going through that process in the next few weeks so i could let you know how it went and what you might need and how long they took to schedule the interview with the child present so that you can get a better a idea of the time it might take.

My Fiancee was pregnant at the time of our petition and she gave birth on Dec. 13, 2007. We are still going though the K1 process. I was able to go and file the Consular Report of Birth Abroad (report of birth for US Citizen) for our child at the US Embassy. After we got our Packet 3 we added him as child accompanying.

Its all for LOVE..
