I made my own trail mix yesterday... I was hungry and rummaging in the cupboard and I found half a packet of pecans, and some cinnamon chips left over from my christmas baking. I mixed them together and it was GOOD and then I thought I'd better eke them out a bit with something cheaper, so I tossed in the end of a bag of golden raisins and the end of a bag of craisins. They're almost gone now and I wish we had more! YUM!

What do you like to put in trailmix for nibbling?

That sounds SERIOUSLY cold Karen! I like trailmix for nibbling as snacks, especially if it's not toooo sweet. We bought a yummy white chocolate cherry one after the hurricane - it had dried cherries and white chocolate chips and almonds and pecans... I don't eat most nuts so I picked out the almonds from my half :)

It was pretty cold...but I loved it. I love it out there :) However, I am smart enough to get inside. There were some serious hikers out there today. I like trailmix when I travel, and I'm like you, I don't like it too sweet. :)
