I've flown USAir into MoBay. Not sure about Kingston.

they only fly to MOBAY last time I flew on them was 2006 last year I went on SPIRIT and I will never fly on them AGAIN!

DIMPLES,

I can't STAND SPIRIT...that's what I get for running down a roundtrip ticket that cost $172 for Washington, DC...never again. I was in Jamaica 4 days before I got my luggage and on the return trip to the states I didn't get my luggage for 3 weeks. Thank God I had the ackee, fish and other things in my carry-on suitcase. The busted up the liquor that was in my suitcase, just completly destroyed it.

I had purchased the INSURANCE by accident, a lot of good that did...it took them 3 months to reimbursement me. It looked like my suitcase was ran over by a BUS. Everything in my suitcases were ruined. Customer service was off the hook and they hung up on my twice. So, I do what I do best and write a letter. I have 2 vouchers which I've not used yet and don't think I will.

wha......I got my suite case after landing in Jamaica for 6 days. Got to Jamaica out of everybody on the flight only me and my sister luggage was lost. They told us it would be on the next flight from Fort Lauderdale after waiting for 1 we told them to deliver the suite case. 2 days pass no luggage tueday morning went back to kingston airport after being suck in the blazing out traffic for 2 hours. for them only 2 give me my sisters luggage. telling me they didn't know where my luggage way. spirit telling me to go buy clothes and they will give it back to me. I said if i'm going to buy luggage where am i suppose to get spending money.....lol (you know you have to lie to them)

got my luggage thurday night and i had to drive to meet the man half way because he didn't know manchester.

hurricane dean...leaving Jamiaca 3 days after the hurricare was hell when standing in line for hours to find out that plane took off and everybody for my flight is still in line. Boy that is a story that i don't even have time to write about right now....

The memories...Air Jamaica bumping me off my flight 2 days before my wedding, I almost thought I would never make it. My maid of honor and I pretty much slept at the airport the night and tried again to get on any flights that were going to JA the day before the wedding. We established a relationship with one of the ticket agents who convinced someone to give up their seat so that I could fly home on the last flight the day before the wedding. Because I didn't want them to charge me when I got home, I had packed my wedding dress in the bottom of my suitcase. Big mistake since I didn't have my suitcase until 2 days after I got home, so I had to rent a dress at the last minute. I didn't reach home until midnight and by this time, hubby thought I wasn't going to make it, so he started calling everyone and telling them we weren't going to get married. I made it home just in time.

Oh, did I mention that my maid of honor was left in Fort Lauderdale and almost didn't come home. They bumped her up to first class, but unfortunately she missed out nuptials. We even pushed it back, since we were marrying in our pastor's office and she still didn't make it home in time.

I know...I promised myself, never again on Air J, but the alternative nuh much bettah (Spirit) unless I want to fly out of Miami then I can take American. Ah jus' tru most time mi caan do bettah.

I was joking with Aaron that Air J was showing off on the day that he moved here, because the flight was on time and everything seemed to run smooth. Didn't have one complaint that day (though I am not sure I would have seen the bad since I was on cloud 9 that day )

I have NEVER and I mean NEVER left Montego Bay on time on Air Jamaica. So, I don't even rush no more to get to the airport. Never really had problems with American Airlines. They lost my luggage once and I was quickly compensated.

Kimmy --

BRITISH AIRLINES -- lost my suitcase when I went to London in '04 and I had my 6 month out with me...girl let me tell you...I had to buy everydamn thing for my son. I wanted to cry and up top of it. I asked them to warm his bottle and I don't know what they did, but he had dirrriah (spelling) when we got to England. NO luggage...NO DIAPERS...NO BABY CLOTHES...I WAS pissed to say the least. And you know what really got under my skin...the agent I was talking to was a BRITISH'JAMAICAN...and she's going to turn to her co-worker and tell her...DEM PEOPLE DEH ALWAYS A TRY LOOK SUMTIN FREE...mi caan type wah mi tell ar...di computah wouda blow up.

I've flown Delta a handful of times out of MoBay. As long as you don't mind the feeling of cattle......cause Delta planes are usually those 300+ gigantic planes.....the ride and service is usually decent. Atlanta is my favorite US from international airport to fly into. They have it down pat as far as the processing goes.

11 days should be just fine.
