Welcome to VJ!!! Complete process takes up to 6 months, NOA1 took about 2 weeks in my case, but sometimes seems to take longer. I would advise you to call USCIS if you do not have receipt or if cheque not cashed after 3 weeks

I only wish the complete process takes up to six months, we are over that period as are so many others - please refer to other threads for the correct timeframes and waiting it out game.

NOA1's are rare gift these days and good luck on your journey but do not call USCIS if your check has not been cashed within three weeks for if they see this they will think they made an error, its up to 15 weeks + in some cases.

patience

Cheers

In January, receipt times have only been about 5 days, however looking at timelines it appears that something has happened in the mailroom because the last receipt was issued for the 16th.

I resent my application on jan 12th and it was received on the 14th. I've been through one misplaced case file already dont want to have to go through another.......

There are timelines you can look at based on your filing center. they are a good gauge. A lot of folks (like my Mayeth) added the timeline as part of our signature.
