Common filing mistakes?

Ok, I am getting ready to send off our packet tomorrow, and I keep double checking to see if I missed anything. Instead of listing everything that we are sending I thought I would ask:

What are the common mistakes that people make?

What did you get an RFE for?

What were you told was missing?

I know I almost forgot the list of previous addresses, but remembered it late last night. What else am I (potentially) missing??

Thank you!

I filed too early and I sent the wrong form/fee. (this was sometime in August and I think the rates just changed in June/July)

Anyhow, make sure you don't file a day earlier then you supposed to, because it takes about 3 weeks for them to return your application to you (and they will) and then another week to get your entire packet of documents back.

Spiderette - The dates that I have on my timeline are the dates that we got email notices, but his gc actually says that it expires on April 28, so we are going by the gc date. Thanks for checking that though!

mawilson - We have the copy of front and back of his gc, but we have it on the same page that has front and back of our driver's licenses. 'Spose that'll be an issue??

During my AOS, I forgot to sign the cheque, and during the filing of my I751 I forgot to check a box on the front page.

I no longer tell potential employers that I pay attention to details.  ;)
