Hello everyone. Would really appreciate any information on this query of mine.

I heard that now at the Islamabad embassy all the applicants are suppose to carry their docs in a transparent plastic bag for the interview.

What happened to the good old carrying your docs in a file method?

HELP!! PLZ!! ANY INFO!! My interview is next week!

What :innocent: thats a weird one. Where did you hear this? Is it on the U.S embassy website? if your source is reliable and genuine then go ahead with the plastic bag.

Yes I trust my sources completely. These are ppl who had their interviews in the past few months. They all say to take docs in a transparent plastic bag or folder.

It sounds very much like the airport security rules when they were dealing with the problem of carry on toiletries. They wanted everything in zip-locks so that they could easily see the contents.
