Hi!

my husband and i have a flight booked to Germany the day after his interview..

We are hopefuly for a successful outcome, but, if for some unforseen reason the GC approval is delayed,

will he still be able to use his AP Document for the travel out of the country?

Thank you for any help!

I don't have the answer to that.

However, if the IO stamps your husband's passport he can use that to leave the country since it's his "conditional GC" (until the card arrives in the mail).

My husband got his passport stamped, so the IO took the EAD and cut the corners. He has to use the stamp in his passport to show he can work.
