Question about my AOS filing

We are finishing it up today, but I am sending an I-130 and the I-485 today (along with support and biography) What I need to know is they ask

I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:

I am a Canadian citizen and we got married a bit over a month ago and now we are applying for the AOS, I'm not sure which box to click, any help would be appreciated.

Ok I'm trying hard here. But nothing has been approved yet, we are sending both the I-130 and the I-485 together today. So does this mean I must also send a copy of the I-130 as well?

Ok I'm trying hard here. But nothing has been approved yet, we are sending both the I-130 and the I-485 together today. So does this mean I must also send a copy of the I-130 as well?

Just send them in the same envelope

Yes, if you deconstruct the sentence eliminating the parts that are not applicable to your situation, it basically says to attach a copy of the immigrant visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.. in other words the I-130.

And I may have not been clear... you will submit the I-130 with all supporting evidence and fee payment and then as supporting evidence to the I-485 you will include a copy of the petition. Each petition/application must be complete and stand alone if they happen to be separated...
