hello to all,

i just wanted to ask something here, its about my son passport, im getting him a philippines passport this week, but i was bother with this question of the application paper, asking aboutt he citizenship of the father. his father is originaly german and now he is just vow his self as a new US citizen of america, what u think i will put on the citizenship of my son father. thanks. and God Bless us all here.

If Germany allows for dual citizenship, he would be a dual citizen. Otherwise he is a US citizen. I don't think your son can derive citizenship from his father. But you could look into it.
