Well, it does say on the USCIS website on the ASC section is bright red letters the following....

Please be sure you have been scheduled to appear for fingerprinting by letter. Do not appear for fingerprinting without an appointment letter.

I know that when I went to the one in Wichita I had to have mine.

I have an appointment letter for the 16th. I'm just trying to see if we can go early so my wife doesn't have to miss work.

I'll call on Monday and see if any appointments are open.
