If you file an I-90 because of an error on the green card, do you have to do biometrics again?

07/17/2009 Interview Denver USCIS office RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL

08/28/2009 Naturalization Ceremony - US District Court - Denver, Colorado[/b][/u]

09/04/2009 Applied for passport

09/22/2009 Passport approved and mailed

09/24/2009 Passport received

08/26/2009 Naturalization Certificate and Name Change Petition arrive back from State Department

We asked that very question at Hachemi's infopass appointment. The immigration officer told us that you do not have to do biometrics again.

Just some advice, send the I-90 and your incorrect green card to uscis in a way that requires them to sign for it. Although we did it that way, they seemed to have lost his 1-90 and green card. At least we had proof that it was delivered there. After 6 months he still has not received a corrected green card but they have given him stamps in his passport to show he is a legal resident. . It just suxs that USCIS is so incompetent.

I believe you don't need to have your biometrics taken again..File the I-90 and check the appropriate reason for your filing. Since I had my name changed, I had to do my bio again and waited for my corrected GC for 3 months..
