The package that your finace will pick up are forms for the interview, and instructions for his/her medical exam. But there is one form that you need to fill out for the interview which is the I-134 form (affidavit of support). Also, you need to give you finace the last 3 years of your income taxes, and evidence of your relationship.

here is the number for the U.S. interest section in havanna. 011 53 7 833 3551. Check to see if they got your case from NVC. once they received your case and you call them, they you give you this number to set up a appointment for your finace interview. 1 866 374 1769. hope this helps....Edwin

where can we find the contents of this famous "Packet 3" ??

i think i more or less know what forms it will contain, from looking at the state department site, but i've never seen it referred to as packet 3.

My K-1 petition was just approved... what should i do know? the NOA2 says that the case is going to be sent to Havana, should we just wait??

you should never just wait. theres lots of paper work you can get done in the idle time. ie, police records, long form birth certificate(if they dont already have one) start filling out the online forms etc. Anything you can do while waiting for the packet3 will speed up the process a lot. For myself, the day i got packet3, i sent it back to the consulate within 3 hours because i had everything ready for them

hey...i see you got packet 3 and set up your interview for JUNE!!! argh. that must feel like such a long time.

someone had advice to call the embassy and ask to speak to the english-speaking lady -- she got someone else's appointment moved up by 2 months recently.

i guess this will happen to me too in a few days... but i will be visiting in march so if talking to the english speaking lady doesn't help me, i will go in person to see if i can get it speeded up!

such a nail-biter!
