just want to hear any comments and point of views here -

1. Somebody has filed for a K1 petition for his/her fiance/fiancee and it is on the verge of approval, is there possibilities to file for another K1 petition to another fiance/fiancee? or let's say two petitioners one person, or two persons, one petitioner, vice versa.

2. Is there any rules, laws and violations or whatsoever in cases like that.

3. What if the fiance/fiancee don't want to pursue the on going petition, what is the futute implications, if there is whatsoever.

Thanks for the insights you can extend to this thread...

You cannot have two concurrent K-1 petitions. You would have to withdraw one and submit the other, along with an IMBRA waiver.

2. Is there any rules, laws and violations or whatsoever in cases like that.

See the forum on IMBRA, which are the laws which apply to multiple petitions.

3. What if the fiance/fiancee don't want to pursue the on going petition, what is the futute implications, if there is whatsoever.

If your fiance doesn't want to pursue the petition, fine. you need to withdraw it. You are not barred from submitting a new one in the future, but you will be subject to having to deal with IMBRA laws and to file a waiver.
