Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Notice Returned as Undeliverable.

On January 10, 2008, the post office returned the notice we last sent you on this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) as undeliverable. This may have serious effects on processing this case. Please call 1-800-375-5283 to update your mailing address for this notice to be re-sent.

This is what i got when i put in my I-129f number into the website; now, the 10th is the DAY after my NOA1 for my 1-130 was received...at the same address. Anybody else with this problem? I'm giong to call them tomorrow...

Phone up the USCIS customer service line and make sure they haven't entered your address incorrectly for one petition (remember, they are 2 separate entries in their system, even when filed together).

They actually made a mistake on the address of one of our petitions (which is, strangely, the one we received  ). They had 4455 on the I130 (correct but never received the first time) and 9455 on the I129F (incorrect but received within a week of them sending it).

It took Josh a few tries for them to update it over the phone and then a couple of months to receive the address change notification to say they'd done it.

So check this out... not my fault in any way, it's the same address that they sent our NOA1 for the 129f, AND the NOA1 for the I-130, yet for some reason it the whatever it was for the 129-f got kicked back to the gov and when I called today they informed me that it would take 30 to 45 days to get it back again.

i am depressed.
