I did a Thai cooking course a few years ago... my fish cakes, larb gai, seafood laksa and mussaman curry are to DIE for :D

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

November 16th 2007 - NOA2 - 156 days from filing

November 24th 2007 - Hard copy of NOA2 received

December 15th 2007 - Packet 3 received

January 18th 2008 - Packet 3 returned

February 13th 2008 - Packet 4 received

March 4th 2008 - Medical @ 1.00pm

March 5th 2008 - INTERVIEW @ 10.00am - APPROVED!!

March 11th 2008 - Visa received!

April 30th 2008 - Flying home at last!!!!! (POE: Dulles - Washington DC)

July 12th 2008 - Wedding date!

Now for AOS!

oh, we learned loads of other recipes too, but those four are my specialties, and I've practised them loads of times ;)

Sounds like a plan! Shouldn't have a job by then either so won't have to worry about getting time off :D I am sure I could persuade Jeremy :D

Excited about meeting tomorrow but soooo nervous about medical/interview... First day of new job went ok though - person I am working with is great - we spent all day chatting about pretty much everything :D

Great news about Audrey and Phil as well!! Yippee! I am soo happy for them after just a tumultuous journey!!!

Hey guys!

just came back from a long weekend in SAN DIEGO! my parents are visiting for 3 weeks and we took them to san diego.

:) LOVE IT!

when we were walking along the harbor 3 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) HUGE cruiseships arrived at the same moment, i mean HUGE ones, 2 carnivals and the "dawn princess". did anybody of you guys ever go on a cruise on such a huge thing? we are thinking about doing a cruise for our belated honeymoon, be we aren't sure if we would like it....

other than that: no news on the AOS, guess our files are collecting dust again....

and i have another job interview in a few hours, so please keep your fingers crossed....

i was very glad that i arrived on a friday night, so we had the weekend with each other and on monday and i went to work with eric, so i wasn't "alone" in my first days here.

glad everybody here is doing so great!

I wasn´t on a cruise but I was on such a huge ship as a visitor...it´s one of those that goes around the world. I went to visit my friends that work there. Well I don´t know if I´d like such a cruise either. It´s all poshy and stuff. Would most likely like it if we had a lot of fun stops on the way. But if just locked on the ship then probly not...

Defo - we should make an annual long weekend event of it - maybe every July or something :D

Am on bit of a session with my mum and her OH - on our second bottle of wine already... think I need it!!
