Hi. I'm new here as I have just started to research how to get my Irish Boyfriend into the US to work/live. We are not engaged yet, however there has been a lot of discussion about this, and he knows that when we get engaged, it should be for the right reasons (not just US and VISA requirements) I currently live overseas with him, and have just accepted a promotion in the US and will be leaving a little over a month from now. If I understand everything I have read, my options are:

1) fiance visa

2) get married before I leave, then he has to wait for visa before he can come to the US. Or, can he come with me and wait for the visa to be official while he is living there?

I'm just trying to gather all the information to know what we need to do. For further information, I work for the US Government and will be traveling back to the US on government orders.

Thanks in advance for any help/info you can provide.
