Hi All..

we were married less then 2 years when filed i-130. and letter from NVC says CR-1 but will be 2 years before interview so what visa embassy will issue CR-1 or IR-1...

or do i need to contact them regarding this.... to change CR-1 into IR-1

N-400 Naturalization

11/07/2011 - Mailed

11/15/2011 - Check Cashed

11/18/2011 - NOA Received in Mail

12/02/2011 - Biometrics Done

12/27/2011 - Yellow Letter Received

02/21/2012 - Interview Letter Recieved

03/22/2012 - Interview

05/11/2012 - Oath Ceremony

They will issue IR-1 visa. Just show them marriage cert. This will result in 10 year un-conditional green-card.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Yeah, just make sure they notice the dates during the interview. It should be automatic but being proactive is a better choice, IMO.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
