My wife and I have received our case number and interview date for February 19th. I received this information from a email from the consulate in Rio. The email also states that the consulate has mailed my wife a confirmation letter. Can someone tell me what happens next.?

- cópia do passaporte dela

- form DS230 (somente a parte I).

- dois forms DS-156

- form DS-157

- Form I-134 (junto desse form I-134, ela deve colocar:)

http://www.embaixadaamericana.org.br/pdfs/...Med_rev2007.pdf

http://www.embaixadaamericana.org.br/pdfs/polfed.pdf (policia federal)

Boa sorte!!! Se tiver qualquer dúvida, estou pronta a ajudar!

Congratulations pela entrevista!

Abraços!

say to her for taking the documents in the order in that I wrote, that will facilitate enough in the day of the interview, and the original comes in front and the copies soon after.

(very important): She should take in the interview, besides these documents, the the three year-old forms 1040 and W2 in the last three years (of the husband), letter of the empregador of the husband saying the how long he works in the company and all receives a year, last against-check of the husband and a letter of the bank of the husband saying as he has in the checking account in the USA. The more documents she to take proving that the husband can sustain her in the USA and it won't be " problem to the USA ", better!

Good luck!!! If you have any doubt, I am ready to help!

Congratulations for the interview!

Hugs!

Hi Mbdesousa,

You should be right behind us. I called NVC, they gave me the case number. In about a week I wrote the consulate in Rio. The consulate wrote me back in about 2 days and said they had just mailed a confirmation letter to my wife. And the web link to the consulate, and department state for the forms. The consulate never sent us a packet 3 to schedule the interview, they gave us one first. (Very good)

I called the NVC for my case number , which will start with the consulate your love one will interview with. In our case it is Rio de Janeiro, so it was RDJ2007****. The NVC phone# 603-334-0700. Once I had this number I emailed the Consulate at immigrationrio@state.gov . The Consulate did respond in 2 days and give us our interview date.
