congrats RaTbox.

I thought all the employer needs is a social security # and/or card that's says valid for work. until we have that, you can't work.

oh well, who cares, I'm just glad I have it !!!

That is what they need. You either have an unrestricted SS card (because you have a GC) which is something an employer can accept, or you have a restricted SS card (it will say Valid for work only with DHS authorization) and the EAD card is that DHA authorization.

I can see several AOS January filers already have information whether their cases have been moved to CSC or they have Interview Dates. I am wondering why I have not received any notice for either yet. I already have my EAD and AP approved earlier. Are there still a lot of you there waiting for either info too? Transfer Notice/Interview Notice?

Awww we are the same...they approved my EAD and AP one day before infopass!!! But we still went for the infopass the next day, will you still go tomorrow?

I got EAD and I-131 approved today. One day before infopass. And card production ordered. Hopefully will get interview notice soon

AOS Process:

- 12-06-07 NOA1 of AOS

- 12-18-07 received RFE for I-864

- 12-20-07 EAD and AP touched (Notice Returned as Undeliverable)

- 01-04-08 Biometrics appointment done

- 01-19-08 resent hubby's income proof

- 01-28-08 AOS touched (Response to RFE received, and case processing has resumed)

- 03-10-08 EAD and AP finally touched and approved!!! =)

- 03-12-08 Case Transfer to CSC

- 03-13-08 EAD Touched again (Card Production ordered)

- 03-17-08 AP and Transfer notice received in mail (AP valids until 03-09-09)

- 03-18-08 EAD touched again (Approval Notice sent)

for those waiting for the AOS notification, they said we will get a notification within 60 days of RFE reciept.
