Hi Everyone,

I'm getting ready to remove conditions and have a question about out credit card accounts....

I've scanned our credit cards to show we have accounts together, but in this day & time of credit card fraud, I'm not comfortable just showing everyone at imigration our account numbers. I was thinking about marking out the first 3 sets of numbers & just leaving the last set to show that they end with the same number. I will leave our name on there of course.

Do you guys think this will be ok? Or do you have other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Dan&Mitzi

I would mark out the numbers - except for the last four. Moreover, I would use a highlighter to show what you want them to see - like same addresses, both names, etc. They're not so concerned about the account numbers per se - they want to see the comingling of accounts, etc. Remember, it was during the initial fiancee visa interview where all of this was about proving your relationship through emails, phone calls, letters. Now, it is all about how you have intertwined your lives - financially! Remember this - they want to see your insurance docs, your bank statements, bills, names on everything. I know it can be a pain, but it really does help to have lots of stuff to show.

Yeah, it isn't a big deal. Even IF someone did use your credit card numbers, you just call the bank and tell them these are not your charges. They refund them immediately and you just need to fill out a form - you are never out any money.

I had my wallet stolen in Hawaii last summer, they got all credit and debit cards, and I wasn't out one penny.
