I think im ready to mail docs to my fiance

Ok well im gathering all the documents to send to my fiance and it says to send her bank account statments. Should i white out/hide my bank account numbers?? For my personal safety. Not that i dont care if she knows it but i dont want my bank account number floating around other peoples desk, even though im sure if they want the number they could get it easily. Also do i need to send a passport size photo as stated in the i-129f form?? Or no?

Also what kind of letter do i need from the bank and what should it say??? Is a copy of my saving & checking account statements good enough or do i need a letter from the bank also???

So far i have a copy of my noa2, copy of nvc letter, copy of i-129f packet, letter from my employer, i have copy of my CDS, life insurance policy,last months bank statements, last 3 paystubs from my work, letter that shows i have a open loan for a truck & made all my payments in full, a new letter of intent to marry & i-134 Affidavit of Support form (notarized also).

Im currently waiting for a "Transcript of Tax return" from the past 3 years. (i did it on the phone today)

Other than that i think that is all i have to send to her for our next step.

ALSO for my fiancee, What happens now, I received letter from NVC that we have been approved and they are forwarding stuff to moscow embassy. Will they contact my fiance for a interview?? OR what, Right now she is waiting to get her information from the police & Im waiting for my transcript of tax return before i mail everything.

Is the next step for us to contact the embassy to make a interview or what?? This is confusing for both of us..

I need some comfort before mailing everything away and forgetting something..

Well, no one else responded, but you didn't list anything to show ongoing relationship.....like emails, phone logs, chat logs, cards, gift receipts, travel stubs/receipts, hotel receipts etc.

Proof of relationships (emails, plane ticket information, copies of visas, used phonecards, pictures)

You should look at the I-134 and do exactly what it says for the bank.

Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institutions where you have deposits, identifying the following details regarding your account:

1. Date account opened;

2. Total amount deposited for the past year;

3. Present balance.

I'm not sure who would do this at the bank. Let us know what they say about it or if it was no big deal.

when I got my bank letter one of the cashiers who was also a bookkeeper did this for me. It was painless. Some people do have problems though.

It looks to me like you have everything you need. For her, depending on the embassy, they will send her a checklist (referred to as Packet3) and it will list the documents she will need to fill out and everything she will need to have ready before she schedules her interview. After she has everything the checklist requires, she will sign it and fax/mail it back to the consulate. Then they will contact her usually through another notice (referred to as Packet4) to let her know her interview date.

ok so while i am getting my stuff ready, NVC will send her packet 3 and then when she gets everything she needs, she will mail/fax something back and they will schedule her for a interview???

I will go to bank tomorrow and see if my bank will do this for me.. It shouldnt be a problem. Thank you everyone.
