Well another year has gone by. I'm hoping that all that americans that have brought people from overseas r truly happy and if not that you all will do what's necessary and fight for their deportation just as heavy as u fought for your international spouse to join u here.

May god bless you all with wisdon to know if your spouse is with u for a free ride and immigration benifit or not before you find yourselves in a finanical mess.

I'm sorry for what you went thru, but if your husband was in it for papers....wouldn't he have stuck with the marriage until the papers were done???

Being that my husband has a medical degree and there is a shortage of Doctors here in America I believe he can try to get his visa now on the merits of having an needed trade. He applied for a visa earlier before he met me and it was denied from his Nigerian Embassy. Shortly after that we met and I applied for his visa because this man told he how much he loved me and that we'd be together forever and on and on. Once a American applies for a visa it's a easier and quicker way for the alien to receive it. I believed him and trusted him. It was only after I filed for his adjustment that I found that it was all a scam. My ex knows our immigration system and how to use it to his advantage. He bacame a stranger in our home and begain treating me like I was his enemy, my loving home became a very stressful place as he put in his final performance to exit our home and go his way. He still has his training and fellow Nigerians living in our city fo help guide him.

It's simple, all he needed from me was a visa to leave Lagos and a ticket to come here and that's exactly what he got. Then the marriage was something he had to do to satisfy his K-1 visa so later when he left he could claim that he had a valid marriage.

Thus once arriving here he can take his test and become a doctor here, didn't know that his plans didn't include me for the long term as many( NOT ALL USC )going thru this process will discover, but by the time they figure it all out the alien spouse will have already used them and if they want to leave you they will.

All the praying and treating them good won't be enough to keep your spouse once he decides he's leaving the relationship.

I wish I had been left in your situation because hear this!!!!! Oh baby by all means stay in the US and get yo' practicing license. Because trust, I 'm going to hit yo' A$$ where your heat is and that is your wallet!!!!!!!!!! So you better believe I will be on his A$$ like foo foo in stew to break his A$$ with child support!!!!!!!! Not better way to break a proud man's arrogance then having the "MAN" dictate what comes out of his check for alimony or child support!!!! Girl you could be stickin' that was of cheese in your bra right in front of his Dumb as I guarantee a siezure would be occuring in front of you. Of course mine still didn't have a pot to piss in when he left either, but I at least I get to hit his heart a little.

Exactly. If you're gonna focus your time on anything.....let it not be on deporting the man. Let him stay, become successful, and then he can at least live up to his obligations with spousal and child support. You will one day find someone who appreciates you. Hate and anger will eat you alive and at that point he WILL have gotten the best of you.

No it does not seem "he WILL have the best of you", but she is doing it to herself by giving hatred and anger permenant residence (space) in her brain. LET GO AND LET GOD...
