Hi All,

Do we need to inform or do we need to change our address with USCIS if we move to a different place. I got my green card in SEP 2006 and ever since we have moved to two different places. Plus i am going to apply for the lifting of the conditions in june 2008 and this change of address thing came to my mind. since now i have moved to two different places what should i do now? should i give my most current address to USCIS? if yes, then how can i do that?

My second Q is that i have changed my SS Card after getting my green card. should i do it ASAP? am i too late for this?. its just that i have been a lazy bum :S

Thanks for nay help in advance.

yes, you need to inform the USCIS of every move you make... since it is too late to inform them of your previous move I wouldn't worry about it... I would send off a change of address now though and include your new address on the lifting of conditions form...

you need to fill out the AR-11 which you can do online now...

AR-11 - Online Change of Adress

and you also need to fill out the I-865, this one is for your sponsor to fill out which I am assuming is your spouse... this one you have to fill in and mail...

I-865 - Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address

How Do I change My Address

Thank you very much MarilynP , My sponsor was a close family relative. so in this case, i guess i just need to fill the AR--11 form. am i right??

Could any body please answer my second question regarding SS card. I still have that SS card stating something like "able to work with work authorization"..Do i need to change that before i file for removing of conditions.

If you are removing conditions based on marriage, then your spouse is your sponsor. They have to file an I-865 every time both of you move.

I don't think so.... the SS card doesn't really come into play when you remove conditions...
