We got our A-number on our NOA2. Not sure what it's used for though :lol: ... im guessing sort of like a SSN us used as identification so is the ARN

What exactly is Alien Registration Number?

Does everybody get their 'A' Number on the NOA2?

Yes, everyone recieves a ARN with the NOA-2. Usual and expected procedure. Don't worry about it.

Every Case is different. The US consulate in Canada put my A# on my visa that was stamped in my passport. Most however receive it on their NOA or ASC appointment notice.

Look again, on your NOA-2, the A# should be there. If not, they made a mistake. As you know, People make mistakes.

on my NOA2, it was above the beneficiary's name. I didn't notice it till just last week and I've had it for over a month :lol:
